Happy Half Term!

Wow! What a fabulous first half term we have had in Year 3! The children have really enjoyed learning about all aspects of Dinosaurs! Next half term we will be learning about Volcanoes and Earthquakes! Over the half term you could investigate Volcanoes! What is inside of them? How do they erupt? How did they get here?! You can present your findings in any way you like! This might be a poster, writing, powerpoint, on the blog, art work, sculpture… whichever way you feel you can show what you have found out!

We look forward to hearing all about what you have done to investigate volcanoes!!

Thank you for your continued support, have a lovely half term!

Missing creature!!

Hi children!

For your homework this week we would like you to write a ‘Missing’ advert for the creature/ animal/ Dinosaur that you researched for your homework last week. In your advert we would like to see a paragraph which describes what your animal looks like, making sure that you include the sentence types that you know! For example, 2a, sentence of 3 or relative clause!

We look forward to reading them!
